| Text | A Scottish word for a great sword. The Scottish weapon smiths crafted their hilts with forward-tilted crossguards more often than the craftsmen farther east or south. The Scots occasionally used these to arm their so-called "berserkers", though axes and various cudgels were more common.
Heavy: Creatures that are Small or Tiny have disadvantage on attack rolls with heavy weapons. A heavy weapon's size and bulk make it too large for a Small or Tiny creature to use effectively.
Two-Handed: This weapon requires two hands when you attack with it.
