Text | These whips are crafted from dried medusa tentacles that have been infused with magic to retain the poisoning effect of their stings. The whip of tentacles counts as a magic weapon for the purposes of overcoming damage resistance or vulnerability. Additionally, on a hit, the target of the weapon must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution save or become poisoned for one minute. The target can attempt a new save at the end of its turn. A successful save ends the poisoned condition.
Finesse: When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.
Reach: This weapon adds 5 feet to your reach when you attack with it, as well as when determining your reach for opportunity attacks with it.
Poisoned:
• A poisoned creature has disadvantage on Attack rolls and Ability Checks.
