The behir can take the Dash or Disengage action on its turn as a bonus action.
While a friendly creature is mounted on the behir, the behir can understand its rider's languages, the rider gains resistance to lightning damage, and the rider can make any spell it casts that targets only itself also target the behir.
While the behir's Lightning Breath is charged, it has an effective flying speed equal to its climbing speed and it can hover.
The behir exhales a line of lightning that is 15 ft. long and 5 ft. wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 44 (8d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The behir makes two attacks: one with its bite and one to constrict.
Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) piercing damage.
Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one Medium or smaller creature. Hit: 10 (1d12+4) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (1d12+4) slashing damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 14) if the behir isn't already constricting a creature, and the target is restrained until this grapple ends. Grappled: • A grappled creature's speed becomes 0, and it can't benefit from any bonus to its speed. • The condition ends if the grappler is incapacitated. • The condition also ends if an effect removes the grappled creature from the reach of the grappler or grappling effect, such as when a creature is hurled away by the thunderwave spell. Restrained: • A restrained creature's speed becomes 0, and it can't benefit from any bonus to its speed. • Attack rolls against the creature have advantage, and the creature's attack rolls have disadvantage. • The creature has disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
